AI has a cost. Data centres pull power and water, and if your mission is the environment you already know those numbers better than we do. We are not going to pretend that away, and we are not going to sell you offsets to make it feel better.

I started STOKED in 2005. For most of twenty one years I was the machine. My face on the brochure. My relationships holding the pipeline. My stamina functioning as the org's actual infrastructure.
Then I stopped being that, and the org kept going. That is the only proof that matters, and it is the thing we build for other people now.
